SPACE REQUIREMENTS
FOR MOVING VANLINES |
|
The information below is designed
to help you give you an idea how much space you will need when requesting
a moving estimate. Listed below are calculations that people use when renting
moving vanlines from "a popular rental truck company". Don't get
too worried though, if you estimate wrong and need more or less space we
can correct the problem immediately. Help-U-Move uses 28 foot commercial
moving vanlines also called "pups" or "pup trailers"
which we bring to your home. If you need more space, no problem -
you can have all 28 feet of the moving vanline if you need it! With
a rental truck, if you rent a truck that is too small you have big problems.
You must either rent a larger truck/trailer unload the smaller truck and
load it all back into the bigger truck or rent a trailer and attach it to
the truck and fill out more paperwork! What a hassle! All of that assumes
trucks are available and they are still open.
All moving vanlines provided by Help-U-Move's are
28 feet in length and are approximately 8' wide and 9' high. The width
and height of these trailers (pups) are larger than most rental trucks.
Because of the greater height and width you will use less length than
you would on a rental truck.
Question: What if you rent
a moving vanline that is too big?
Answer: You are stuck paying for unused space!
* With Help-U-Move you can rent as little as 216 cubic feet or as much as 8,000
cubic feet. Just let us know what you need. Remember, we do all of the driving so our
prices include gasoline, tolls, taxes, etc.
